Increased by 1.5 million VND, the price of gold bars returned to the mark of 100.4 million VND per tael
Due to the world gold price's strongest increase ever to 3,073 USD/ounce, the domestic gold price also increased from 500,000 to 1.5 million VND/tael.
The domestic gold price this morning (March 30) increased sharply from 500,000 to 1.5 million VND per tael following the increase in the world gold price,
while the central exchange rate decreased by 3 VND.
At 9:00 a.m., Saigon Jewelry Company, Doji Company and Phu Quy Company all listed the buying and selling prices of SJC gold at VND98.40 - 100.40 million/tael,
an increase of VND1.5 million/tael compared to the previous session. This was the highest increase of the session last week on March 20.
Similarly, at Phu Quy Company, the listed price of gold rings was from VND98.20 - 100.20 million/tael, an increase of VND500,000 compared
to the previous session's close. At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the price of plain round gold rings was listed from VND98.50 - 100.40 million/tael (buy/sell),
an increase of VND700,000 compared to the previous session's close.
The price of SJC 999.9 gold rings also increased by VND1.3 million per tael, currently trading around VND98 - 100 million.
In the world, this precious metal fluctuated around USD3,073/ounce this morning, up about USD48 compared to the same time last session.
The gold price has set a record high 17 times since the beginning of 2025. This price is equivalent to VND95.40 million/tael when converted
according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank.
This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on March 30 at VND24,843/USD, down VND5 compared to the previous session.
With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank announced from VND25,370 - 25,760, up VND10 compared to the previous session.
Similarly, VietinBank and BIDV traded from 25,400 - 25,760 VND/USD (buy/sell), also up 10 VND.
Eximbank traded from 25,370 - 25,760 VND/USD (buy/sell), unchanged from the previous session./.
