voters about how he is handling the economy and streamlining the government, especially with his current ambitious agenda.
Specifically, according to the poll results, the overall satisfaction level for Trump is up to 47%, his highest level ever as President.
However, 51% of respondents still said they disapproved of the White House boss's performance in his second term.
Among independent voters, 30% approved and 67% disapproved of Trump's performance.
By gender, 55% of men approved of Trump's performance and 43% disapproved, while 40% and 58% of women approved.
On the economic front, 46% approved of President Trump's direction, 30% disapproved, and 21% said the current measures did not bring about change.
By specific criteria, 54% disapproved of Trump's handling of the economy, 55% were dissatisfied with his handling of inflation and the cost of living.
Thirty-two percent of respondents said they earn enough to cover their living expenses, while 60 percent said they earn less and only 7 percent said they earn more.
Only 1 percent of respondents said the economy is in “excellent” shape, 17 percent said it was “good,” 39 percent said it was “okay,”
and 43 percent said it was “poor.”
The numbers represent a surprising shift for Trump, who has often received negative reviews on economic issues in NBC News polls.
On other key issues, 56 percent support a border policy; 47 percent support a campaign to streamline government, while 29 percent oppose it;
and 46 percent consider the creation of a Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) a good idea, compared to 47 percent who oppose it.
