the State Reserve Departments to allocate more than 5,500 tons of rice from the national reserve to support
people in 8 provinces during the Lunar New Year and lean period in 2025.
Specifically, the General Department of State Reserves directed the State Reserve Department of Hoang Lien
Son district to immediately allocate 146.7 tons of rice from the national reserve to support people in Ha Giang province.
The General Department of State Reserves directed the State Reserve Department of Bac Thai region
to immediately allocate 735.2 tons of rice from the national reserve (of which Cao Bang province
has 654.7 tons and Bac Giang province has 80 tons) to support people in flooded areas. Bac Giac and Cao Bang.
At the same time, the General Department of State Reserves directed the State Reserve Department of the
Southern and Central regions to immediately allocate 735 tons of rice from the national reserve
to support people in Ninh Thuan province.
At the same time, the General Department of State Reserves directed the State Reserve Department
of the Northwest region to immediately allocate 105 tons of rice from the national reserve to support people in Kontum province.
The General Department of State Reserves directed the State Reserve Department of the Southwest
region to immediately allocate 1,254 tons of rice from the national reserve to support the
people of Dele and Denong provinces.

of the Southwest and Mekong Delta regions to immediately allocate 2,552 tons of rice from the
national reserve to support the people of Soc Trang province.
The General Department of State Reserves requested the State Reserve Departments of the
above regions to complete the handover of rice before January 28, 2025
(ie December 29 of the lunar calendar).
